4-hour jeep tour of Wadi Rum

Meeting place: Wadi Rum Rest House in Wadi Rum village next to the tourist car park
Start time: Morning tour at 9.00am; afternoon tour at 1.00pm (November to March); afternoon tour at 2.00pm (April to October)
Finish time: Morning tour ends at 1.00pm; afternoon tour finishes at 5.00pm or 6.00pm
Prices: 40JD per person for 2 to 4 people
35JD per person for 5 to 8 people

Itinerary

We travel by jeep through Wadi Rum village and out into the spectacular Wadi Rum desert. We will visit Lawrence Spring where you can follow the pipeline up the hill for a magnificent view, and enjoy a hospitality cup of tea when you return from your walk.

We continue on to Khazali Canyon where you will see ancient inscriptions on the cool shaded walls, then to the red sand dunes. At the red sand dunes you can try sand boarding. We provide a board, no extra charge. Then to the Little Arch where you can walk to the top and rest a while.

Our last stop for the day is at Um Frouth Rock Bridge. Here there is a short climb to the top of the arch, 15 metres above the desert floor.

After Um Frouth we travel back to Wadi Rum village and end the tour.

Included in the price is the jeep tour and hike, English-speaking guide, bottled drinking water, Bedouin tea, and return to Wadi Rum village.

Full payment for your tour is payable in cash in JD (Jordanian dinar) at the end of your tour.
